Charnes Tours LLC is based in Denver, Colorado. The company was founded in 2000 and is run by the son and mother team of David and Barbara Charnes. David lives full time in Italy. He designs the tours and guides most of the trips. Barbara lives full-time in Denver where she answers the toll free calls and does the accounting.

David was born and raised in Denver and moved to Italy after college. He has lived in Florence, Italy since 1989. Before starting Charnes Tours, David worked for four other bicycle touring companies.

Barbara has visited Italy every year since 1989. She has travelled extensively throughout the country. She can answer any question about our tours as well as general questions about travel in Italy.
