Determined to make use of my degree in economics I found work with the largest multinational company in Florence - General Electric. I worked in finance and accounting. After a few difficult years I decided I was more suited to running active vacations and I started Charnes Tours.

I now spend most of the year in Italy. My wonderful mother Barbara, mans the phone in Colorado, and we continue to grow.

I enjoy my work as much as ever and still relish a plate of spaghetti with a nice Chianti wine.
