Terms and Conditions
Deposit  To reserve your tour we require a deposit.
US$ 200: Self-Giuded Siena to Florence
US$ 400: All other tours (cycling and hiking)

The balance for your tour is due 60 days before departure.  A confirmation packet of pre-departure materials will be sent to you within two days of the receipt of your deposit.

Single Travelers  Tour prices are based on double room occupancy. A single supplement is required for single room occupancy. Please note that in Italy single rooms are frequently smaller than double rooms even though they cost more per person. If you request a roommate, we will try to pair you with one (of the same gender). If we do not find a roommate and if you sign up for the trip more than 60 days before departure no single supplement will be applied. If you sign up less than 60 days prior to departure the single supplement will apply.

Cancellations and Refunds  If you must cancel your reservation, the cancellation fees are as follows:
                 

Full deposit + 50% final payment

Switching Trips  You may transfer your trip deposit to another departure in the same calendar year up to 60 days prior to your original departure.

Cancellation Insurance  We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance, including trip cancellation/interruption insurance.  Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason including weather or personal emergencies.  There is no refund for unexpectedly leaving a trip early or arriving late.

Responsibility and Liability  Charnes Tours is not liable for bodily injury or property damage as a result of but not limited to: physical exertion for which a guest is not prepared; forces of nature; travel by train, auto, boat, or other conveyance, or by bicycle, foot or other form of active travel; consumption of alcoholic beverages; breakdown of equipment; lack of or limited access to medical attention in remote locations; and the adequacy of medical attention once provided. Guests grant Charnes Tours permission to take photographs or make film records of its trips for promotional and commercial use, as well as approve such use by third parties, without financial remuneration.
