What if it rains?

On self-guided hiking tours there is no van support. However, we do move your luggage from hotel to hotel. In the event of rain you can catch a ride with us when we move your bags. We provide our guests with a cell phone. You can call in the morning and make arrangements for a lift.

Optional Fifth Night in Gaiole in Chianti
Forbes magazine ranked Gaiole number one in its list of "Europe's Most Idyllic Places To Live” describing the town as sleepy and picturesque. The town is off the beaten tourist trail and offers unpretentious hospitality.

Note: Public transport (busses) are limited from Gaiole. There is one bus at 7.00 AM to Florence and six busses to Siena (between 7.00 AM and 6.00 PM). No busses on Sundays. We will be happy to assist you with your travel planning from Gaiole. Taxis are also available.
