Our most popular tour takes
you from the walled town of Lucca to the steep slopes of the Cinque Terre. We explore Lucca's majestic walls by bicycle, tour a Renaissance villa, and
visit a Roman amphitheater. In the Cinque Terre we spend two days
visiting all five villages. Later we stay in Santa Margherita Ligure
and hike to Portofino and the secluded abbey of San Fruttuoso. Highlights include a pesto making class and a guided wine tasting of Cinque

We hike from
Montalcino to Montepulciano exploring the beautiful rolling hills of southern
Tuscany. Along the way we visit a 14th Century fortress, swim in the
thermal waters of Bagno Vignoni, and have a guided tour of a winery. We
try the local
pecorino cheeses and sample the regional pasta known as pici. The tour includes three nights in Montalcino and two in Pienza. |
